Shooting camp

The main intention of this camp is for each participant to have as much time and space to work on improving their shooting skills, and their physical and psychological abilities. Another goal is also to teach the participants mutual sympathy and respect for one another.

I, as a coach, will do my best in helping, advising and finding individual options for improvement. There will be an individual training plan prepared with each participant, in order to suit everyone’s needs. However each plan is intended to have 3 training phases (a morning phase- 2 hours 30 minutes, an afternoon phase- 3 hours, and the evening phase- 2 hours). In case of larger quantities of shooers, there will be more coaches available a there will be an expert rifle coach provided for all rifle disciplines.

The main date of the camp is from the 1st of July to the 31st of August, but it can be extended from May to September. The entire shooting range will be available for the camp (except for one weekend, when there will be a youth shooting contest. The date of that will be specified further on)

The trainings will be throughout the whole day. Every participant must bring their own gun, and ideally their own ammunition as well (however, ammunition can be provided, if ordered beforehand). Guns and ammunition will then be stored in a vault, and other shooting equipment in a lockable room. Since the shooting range isn’t equipped with electronic targets, it is necessary for each participant to have a monocular. There are enough tripods for the monoculars at the shooting range.

For professional consultations and shopping for shooting equipment, it is possible to invite an Olympic Games winner Miroslav Varga. It is also possible to arrange a tour through the RWS company, with ammunition test and the the possibility to purchase some ammunition.

There will also be the possibility to visit a Rope park, to make a scooter route to Sokolov and a canoe route back, play golf, play football at the shooting range, and so on. After a few days of training, time for regeneration should follow. Within the regeneration process, it is possible to visit the swimming pool in Carlsbad, the natural outdoor swimming pool in Sokolov, to arrange massages or a trip to Cralsbad, Krušné hory, and so on.

The camp includes meals. Breakfasts will be provided at the shooting range (or as a part of your accomodation). Lunches and dinners will be at the camp approximately 300 meters away from the range. In case of good weather, it is possible to grill in the shooting range area. Beverages and refreshments will be freely available throughout the entirity of the camp.

For necessary medical treatment, there is a hospital in Carslbad at disposal. Insurance is necessary for participating in this camp
